Leatherhead Hockey Club was founded 1985 as part of Leatherhead Cricket Club, which itself was founded in 1850 and celebrated its 150th anniversary in the year 2000.

Leatherhead Hockey Club is a very small and friendly Club offering both League and non-league fixtures for Men and Ladies during the winter season, as well as mixed matches and tours throughout the year.

We have two Mens sides, both of whom play in the Surrey Open League (1st & 5th Divisions) and two Ladies sides - the first team plays in the Surrey Ladies League but the second team plays only friendly fixtures.

Directions and Maps

Club House / Grass pitch:
Follow the signs for Leatherhead town centre and the Leisure Centre. The Club entrance is on the right hand side of the road immediately as you enter the access road to the Leisure Centre.
During the season almost ALL matches will be played on the Home Astro Pitch, however full changing facilities and teas are at the Club House. Teams will be notified in advance if there is a change of venue.

Astro Pitch:
The home Astro is located in the grounds of Therfield School, Dilston Road, Leatherhead.
Dilston Road is left at the mini-roundabout, after crossing the railway line on Kingston Road. Enter the school grounds and take first right. The car park and Astro are located at the end of this road. Very limited changing facilities are adjacent to the car park.
